On September 06th the winners of the First Coffee Quality Competition at the region of Serra do Pau D´ Alho received their awards. This competition was organized by Sindicato dos Produtores Rurais de Cabo Verde, Prefeitura Municipal de Cabo Verde, Cooxupé and Alfenas Café.
The Final round of cuppings selected 3 lots of Natural coffee and 8 lots of Pulped Naturals. These lots will be exported by Alfenas Café to Sandalj Trading Company of Trieste, Italy and will receive a premium of 30% above current market prices.
