FAZENDA PARAÍSO

Fazenda Paraíso is located at Cabo Verde, on the foothills of Serra do Pau D'Alho, a region with very high soil fertility. The farm has 62 hectares planted with coffee, producing from 1.000 to 3.000 bags per year.

The dense plantation allows for high yields while maintaining harmony with the forest reserve areas, and protecting the many pure water springs in these hills. These forest areas are interconnected so that a forest corridor is formed linking them to the brook at the mountain's base.

This conservationist attitude, promoted by agronomist Guy Carvalho, adds to the constant concern about the product quality, the workers' welfare, and the economic viability of coffee production, forming the basis for a total sustainability framework developed at his own coffee estate and thought to growers in all the regions where coffee is grown in Brazil in his frequent lectures at coffee technical events.

In partnership with Alfenas Café, Fazenda Paraíso also seeks a direct approach to the final consumer. This practice guarantees a production of the most adequate coffee for each market, seeking for the development of long-term relationship with our customers.
