Alfenas Café takes an active role in the communities where coffee is produced investing to achieve better living standards for the workers involved in the production.

Social responsibility is one of our business principles, and our companies have a long tradition of supporting community projects. More recently, some of our partners in the international coffee market have joined us, adding an additional premium to the price of their acquisitions that is invested to support those projects. In this way part of the income generated by our coffee exports is invested in the communities where the workers that produce our beans live.
